At the age of 19, Nestor Bracho moved to Panama where he began his career in television, hosting MovieLab, a short program where he mentioned the films of the moment for cinema. “During my time in that country, I auditioned remotely for a show in Miami called LaBanda where Ricky Martin was the coach and I was selected to attend the face-to-face auditions. They did not choose me in the second round, but everything did not end there. I kept working hard and moved to the United States, where I filmed my 3 music videos, published my first book and the second is already on its way. I am an ambassador for social native, a company that makes advertisements for international brands and I am the C.E.O of OlaCulture and I participated with a small role in the nickelodeon series Club57 – I continue to write music, I continue to act as a model in music videos and television series.”
FMM: What led you to a career in entertainment?
I grew up in a very humble family, hardworking and full of dreams. My dad is a communicator and a sports commentator and his influence with radio, television and microphones made my life full of music, creativity and the desire to do what I am passionate about. I don’t remember when I started singing but I remember very well my first time in a theater where I performed a song for a Christmas play and since then I have promised to do that for the rest of my life.
FMM: Tell us about the show, LaBanda and working with Ricky Martin.
——-Oh my God… it was my first international audition for a talent tv show in Miami where the CNCO band was winners but the important thing although it was little time was all I learned from the coaches and Ricky is incredible, friendly and very nice. Years later we met again where i participated in a music video in the company of Maluma.
FMM: What did you enjoy the most from this experience?
I think life is undoubtedly an experience to enjoy every day. Home day there are new things and moments, you can always learn from the process. I’m in love with my career and everything I’m doing now.
FMM: Music is your passion. Share your projects.
I don’t consider myself a musician even though music is my passion. In my days off I practice with my guitar or my piano or my mandolin, I love to write and sing. I feel that this is how the soul is expressed when you don’t have a voice when you can’t say it just in words. Music is the universal language and goes as far as words can’t. You can literally find me on YouTube, Instagram or Tiktok where I upload entertaining and educational content and of course the music I make. I also tell you that I will release my second book in mid-July. The first one is available now on Amazon as “La Quinta Señal”
FMM: What is next for you?
I’m still doing music – my second book is coming out soon July to be more specific – I’m modeling some brands in collaboration with Social Native.
